Welcome, friends!
Welcome, friends!
So happy you’re here! I’m Sarah—a writer, editor, and children’s book author on the path to publication. I write copy for clients, stories for kids, and reflections on vocation and calling for Substack.
What You’ll Find Here
In the spirit of whole-personhood, this site includes the work I do for work and the work I do for joy.
Writing for Clients
I’m currently the Senior Writer for a global creative agency where I specialize in telling stories for brands and businesses across industries. I have a B.A. in Journalism from Taylor University and 7+ years of experience in writing, editing, and marketing. I’m known for making it feel more poetic and making clients cry (in a good way).
Writing for Kids
I recently authored a rhyming children’s book about the question, “What do you want to do when you grow up?” The story teaches that what you do should flow from who you are—and your gifts and limitations are clues to discovering your calling. As I work toward publication, I also write about all-things calling, career, and vocation on Substack.
Where My Words Are
“To be a good writer, you not only have to write a great deal but you have to care. You do not have to have a complicated moral philosophy. But a writer always tries, I think, to be a part of a solution, to understand a little about life and to pass this on.”
— Anne Lamott
